“Culture Crops: cultural practices in non-urban territories”

Culture Crops: cultural practices in non-urban territories ist eine Konferenz on-the-road: auf gemeinsamen thematischen Ausflügen vor Ort erleben die Teilnehmer*innen das vielfältige kulturelle Angebot in der Region. Kulturprojekte aus ganz Europa tauschen sich aus und haben die Gelegenheit, voneinander zu lernen. Außerdem stehen hochrangige Keynote-Vorträge, Podiumsdiskussionen, eine offene Projekt-Agora und Kompetenzbildungsworkshops für regionale und für EU-Förderung auf dem Programm.

Culture Crops: cultural practices in non-urban territories findet statt u.a. im Dreispitzareal und im Kunstraum Kreuzlingen, in der Stadtbücherei und im Kulturladen Konstanz, in der Gems Singen, im Napoleon Museum Arenenberg und im Transitorischen Museum zu Pfyn, im Haus zur Glocke, in der Kartause Ittingen und im Kunstmuseum Thurgau,… Mit dabei u.a. Claudia Zeiske - Deveron Projects (UK), Adela Bertolo - Teatr Brama (PL), Hugo Branco - VIC (PT), Michel Mey & Sebastien Olesen - Palp Festival (CH), Deirdre O’Mahony - Künstlerin u.a. SPUD project (IR), Dritero Kasapi - Riksteatern (SE), Andre Sebastian & Desiree Brüning - taNDem (DE-NL),…  

Culture Action Europe (CAE) ist das größte interdisziplinäre Forum für den nichtstaatlichen Kulturbereich in Europa. Mit 145 Mitgliedsorganisationen fungiert CAE als Vermittler gegenüber Entscheidungsträger*innen der europäischen Politik und Administration, wenn es um die Interessen von Künstler*innen und Kulturschaffenden geht. Jedes Jahr veranstaltet Culture Action Europe in einem anderen europäischen Land unter dem Label “Beyond the Obvious” eine Konferenz, um den Kultursektor in Europa und die Verbindung unter - kleinen und großen - Akteuren in Europa zu stärken.

“Culture Crops: cultural practices in non-urban territories”

Culture Crops: cultural practices in non-urban territories sparks the debate on peripheral territories. Various thematic itineraries are proposed to the participants in order to experience the diversity of models of practice present in the region. These visits include facilitated debate and exchange between similar practices from other parts of Europe and offers an opportunity for learning and peer-to-peer exchange. Conference will also feature high level keynote speeches and panel discussions, as well as capacity building workshops and a project agora.

Culture Action Europe (CAE) is the major European network of cultural networks organizations. CAE with its 145 member organisations is the first port of call for informed opinion and debate about arts and cultural policy in the EU.
